We need your help to combat tool theft!
The police have made multiple arrests for stolen tools since the van protest and subsequent car boor raids. However, in many cases, they are forced to return stolen tools to thieves because they cannot prove ownership. Essentially, tools are often unregistered and unmarked.
The Metropolitan Police have big plans to tackle tool theft, but they need tradespeople to mark their tools forensically. This allows them to convict thieves and return tools to their rightful owners.
We need as many tradespeople as possible to attend these tool marking events as possible. As a thank-you for attending, you’ll receive a FREE SelectaDNA tool-marking kit!
Each kit can mark up to 50 power tools.
Please do your part to help the Metropolitan Police secure convictions by marking your tools with forensic identifiers and let's keep doing all we can to stop tool theft!
