Hiring your first member of staff is a massive step for any small business, and today we talked to two tradespeople who’ve been through it. We were joined by John Argyle, a carpenter from Enfield Refurbishments, who shared his experience of making that first hire and the challenges he faced, and by Robert "Pointy" Clarke from PPH Pointy Plumbing & Heating, a Fix Radio regular, who gave us his tips on finding the right person and managing those early days of building a team.
