International Womens Day 2024

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Fix Radio the Builders Station brought together inspiring tradeswomen into our Vauxhall studio to discuss the challenges of working in the trade and how to get more women on the tools.

Joining Fix Radio presenter John Isherwood for the chat were electrician Kimmy the Sparks, (@kimmythesparks), heating engineer, Pixie Perez-Garcia (@pixie_heating), another sparky Kornelia Dziewicka (@shes_electricx) and Maria Kinsella (@phoenixmandr), a qualified plumber, heating engineer, electrician and occasional painter and decorator.
