Open Position: Promo Coordinator

Role Overview:

Fix Radio is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Promo Coordinator to join our Promotions Department. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the preparation and execution of our nationwide events. We are looking for a proactive individual who enjoys interacting with others and can manage various tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position combines administrative duties related to event organization with on-the-ground event delivery across the country.

About Fix Radio's Promotional Department:

Fix Radio is the UK's only radio station dedicated exclusively to tradespeople. With nationwide broadcasting on DAB, we provide an upbeat soundtrack and minimal advertisements, ensuring that our content is not only entertaining but also relevant to our audience. Our authentic presenters deliver information and entertainment throughout the workday, making Fix Radio a valuable companion for tradespeople.

We offer a high-quality marketing platform for our commercial partners, ensuring effective and efficient outreach to our listeners. Our promotions department plays a vital role in this by organizing on-ground activities, commercial events, and community initiatives, as well as managing all marketing efforts for Fix Radio. Fix Radio promo department creates consistent touchpoints with our audience and strengthens our connection with the tradespeople community across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration:

  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue bookings. 
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders involved in nationwide events. 
  • Monitor emails and maintain timely communication with all parties. 
  • Handle accommodation bookings for the team during events. 
  • Organise and maintain event documents, including filing expenses and managing spreadsheets. 

On-the-Ground Street Team Responsibilities: 

  • Working during the events & traveling to scheduled locations
  • Interact with tradespeople and participants to ensure a smooth event experience. 
  • Record short radio links and create video content for our social media platforms. 
  • Engage with tradespeople and meet commercial objectives related to the event. 
  • Connect with our current listeners and strengthen the relationship between Fix Radio and our audience. 
  • Introduce Fix Radio to new potential listeners. 

Qualifications: 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for engaging with people. 
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and work flexible hours during events. 
  • Comfortable using Excel and managing logistical details. 
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience in events industry or media related skills is a plus but not required.

Pay:

£140.00-£180.00 per day
