We’re now expanding our commercial team and looking for an ambitious Agency Account Director to help us grow our agency presence. Fix Radio: The Builders Station, has been on air for over eight years, delivering music, entertainment, and information designed around the working lives of UK tradespeople.

With over 600,000 tradespeople tuning in every week, Fix Radio has fast become the go-to station for UK builders, offering a targeted media route to advertisers trying to reach this hard-to-access audience.

Other platforms come with heavy wastage. Fix Radio offers something different: a pure trade audience, built around the rhythms of the working day.

What will you be selling? 

You’ll be selling tailored advertising packages to media agencies, including radio airtime, branded content, sponsorships, competitions, events and integrated campaigns. Fix Radio is the only station built specifically for the trade, and you’ll help agencies connect their clients with this unique high-value audience.

Job Opportunity Summary: 

• Fix Radio is uniquely placed to become the go-to radio station for UK builders.
• As an Agency Account Director, you’ll play a key role in supporting our growth within the media agency market. 
• You’ll help introduce the Fix Radio brand to advertising agencies, build strong relationships with planners and buyers, and support the delivery of standout campaigns.
• You’ll be joining a growing team of experienced radio professionals within our wider commercial department. 
• Working closely with senior colleagues, you’ll help bring branded content ideas to life from sponsorships and promotions to interactive solutions helping our commercial partners connect with Fix Radio’s unique trade audience.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Build relationships with planners and buyers at key media agencies
• Respond to briefs and help develop proposals that meet client goals
• Assist in presenting campaign ideas and media plans
• Work with our internal teams to deliver and report on campaigns
• Identify new opportunities within agency portfolios
• Help coordinate meetings, activations, and post-campaign reports
• Keep records and reporting tools up to date
• Key performance indicators include daily outreach to prospective agencies and a target number of meaningful client meetings per week to drive pipeline growth

Essential Skills: 

• Experience in media sales or agency account management
  • Radio experience strongly preferred but not essential
• Clear, confident communicator who enjoys building relationships
• Motivated, well-organised and proactive
• Commercially minded and keen to learn
• Comfortable working independently with support from the wider team

The Package:

• Salary: Competitive Base + performance-based commission structure (Competitive OTE)
• Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Location: Remote-first, with attendance required at our monthly team meetings in London
• Contract: Permanent, with a 3-month probation period
