Fix Radio successfully launch a site radio into space!

After weeks of planning, spearheaded by the Bald Builders, we successfully launched a Makita site radio into orbit!

The launch was to celebrate the recent milestone of half a million Fix Radio listeners. Following the news, The Bald Builders then declared that they were embarking on a new quest to reach non-Earthlings and showcase Fix Radio and all it has to offer. Brad said, "Astronauts are technically engineers, which is a trade". 

So after a few weeks of planning and several rewatches of Star Trek, we officially launched our voyage.

In a journey which took over 2 hours, the Makita site radio, attached to a weather balloon, made it to space.
