Construction journalist claims trades need more government support

There have been six construction ministers in the last two years alone. The revolving door at the top means that there has been little government-level focus on fixing core issues facing the industry. The new construction minister Lee Rowley takes up the role at a time when the sector is facing high material costs and labour shortages, which are strangling the post-COVID recovery. Speaking on the Clive Holland Show, construction journalist Tim Clark spoke about these issues and what more the government can do to support us, as well as the high volume turnaround there has been.
