We need your help to combat tool theft!
The Fix Radio Street Team is supporting and attending tool-marking events organised by Wickes Tradepro. The events will also be attended by Gas Engineer Shoaib Awan and C-Tec.
The police have made multiple arrests for stolen tools since the van protest earlier this year. However, in many cases, they are forced to return stolen tools to thieves because they cannot prove ownership. Essentially, tools are often unregistered and unmarked.
The police have big plans to tackle tool theft, but they need tradespeople to mark their tools forensically. This allows them to convict thieves and return tools to their rightful owners.
With tool theft on the rise, these events offer a vital opportunity for tradespeople to protect their equipment and learn more about tool theft prevention
Join us to help tackle tool theft and protect your gear. We need as many tradespeople as possible to attend these events. As a thank-you for your participation, you’ll receive a FREE SelectaDNA tool-marking kit! Each kit can mark up to 50 power tools.
On each day, up to 250 kits will be given out, courtesy of our friends at Wickes, to tradespeople who register their kits and mark their tools.
